Maria Kokkini - People and Birds - Scarves

Maria Kokkini was born in Athens and studied Mathematics at the University of Patras. She then worked professionally with cast jewelry and the manufacture of molds, while collaborating with silversmith workshops undertaking the design and manufacture of their jewelry. Since 2001 she begins her professional involvement with painting. Maria Kokkini is a self-taught painter. Her works are creations on wood, using tempera and combinations of materials. She has participated in 17 group exhibitions and has 10 solo exhibitions to her credit.
